  • Reduced IL-4 and IL-13, two more inflammatory signals.

A 2023 MDPI study went at rheumatoid-arthritis pathology directly and found fulvic acid normalized markers of oxidative stress toward healthy control values. And remember the antioxidant enzymes from the other articles — GSH, SOD, catalase — those are part of the same anti-inflammatory story, because oxidative stress and inflammation feed each other in a loop.

Fulvic acid doesn't just spray water on the fire — it turns down the gas line feeding it (TNF-α, COX-2, PGE2) while strengthening your body's own fire crew.

The "Bimodal" Truth — And Why It Demands Respect

Here's the nuance the honest researchers point out, and I'll pass it straight to you: fulvic acid is described as bimodal — it can both reduce inflammation and, in certain contexts, stimulate immune activity. That's usually a feature (a smart modulator, not a blunt hammer), but it's exactly why people with autoimmune conditions — lupus, MS, rheumatoid arthritis — are advised to be cautious or avoid it, because dialing the immune system up is not what you want when it's already attacking you.

I'd rather lose a sale than have someone with an autoimmune condition use this without talking to their doctor first. That's a hard line for me.

Why Inflammation Ties Every Article Together
